Goertek Co., Ltd (Hongkong) has just increased 306 million USD of investment capital in the project of Factory manufacturing electronic equipment, network equipment and multimedia audio products in Que Vo Industrial Park, Bac Ninh. This is the company’s second largest project since the beginning of this year.

Goertek Co., Ltd., one of three major suppliers for Apple in Vietnam (including FoxConn Luxshare), has just been adjusted to increase investment capital in the project of Factory manufacturing electronic equipment, network equipment and other multimedia audio devices in Bac Ninh, bringing the total capital from 260 million USD to 306 million USD (equivalent to more than 7,000 billion VND). Up to now, this is the project with the second largest registered capital since the beginning of the year in Bac Ninh province, after VSIP Bac Ninh project (Singapore) with an investment capital of 941 million USD.

Entering Vietnam since 2013, GoerTek has so far opened two processing factories in Que Vo, Bac Ninh. Even in January of this year, this company also poured another 400 million USD into its 100 million USD electronic product manufacturing factory project in WHA Industrial Zone 1, Nghe An, turning this into the largest FDI project in this province, with a scale of 500 million USD.

One of the suppliers of audio electronics for big brands like Apple and Samsung, GoerTek is the “child” of a technology billionaire Jiang Bin. Dubbed the “bluetooth king”, Jiang Bin is currently ranked 81st in China’s 100 richest billionaires with a total fortune of $7.5 billion.
