Catch Opportunities of Northern Vietnam’s Booming Manufacturing Industry In 2016

Ho Chi Minh City, 7 January 2016 - Due to TPP and FTA agreement negotiations, 2015 is considered as an important milestone of the growth of the manufacturing industry in Vietnam. According to the Asian Development Bank, Vietnam’s economy maybe the fastest growing amongst 6 main tracked countries in Southeast Asia. Disbursed foreign investment surged 17.4 percent to a record-high of $14.5 billion in January-December from a year earlier. Foreign investment climbed 12.5 percent. Industrial production jumped 9.8 percent and manufacturing rose 10.6 percent in same period from year earlier. (*)
